gelten B.B. & The Blues Shacks als der europäische
Exportartikel des traditionellen Rhythm & Blues.
Mit bis zur 4000 Konzerten hat sich diese Band eine
riesige Fangemeinde weltweit erspielt und blickt auf 13
Veröffentlichungen seit 1994 zurück.
Nun haben die BBs mit Rhythm Bomb Records ein neues
Zuhause gefunden und kehren mit dem neuen Album
zurück zu ihren Wurzeln. Wurde in vergangenen Tagen
hier und da auch die Liebe zum Soul nicht geleugnet,
besinnt sich das Quintett mit dieser Veröffentlichung
wieder auf das, was sie seit Bandgründung wie kaum eine
andere Formation beherrscht: allerfeinsten Vintage Blues;
50er Jahre Chicago Blues, gepaart mit Swing, Jump und
treibenden Shuffles. 14 Eigenkompositionen sind auf
„Reservation Blues“ zu hören, ergänzt durch eine
großartige Hornsection auf vier Titeln.
